Stopped here while passing through. Lovely spot with a great menu. Nice atmosphere and nice service. They make their own blue cheese dressing. I wish Reds was closer to my home in Philadelphia.
We LOVE Red’s. Why? Because we always have had a great meal. My husband and I love their seafood. It is always cooked to perfection. We have never left there disappointed. We have gone there for years. We also love the fish fry boat during the summer too. So glad that they are nearby.
The most dated restaurant decor you've ever smelled. The food is fabulous! The staff is wonderful . They really must redo the interior. The rug is ancient, hence, the dining room smells bad. Real bad. The bathroom is pretty gross, too. It even has a raised cushioned seat on one of the toilets, in case you've had a knee replacement. The banquet hall is better , but it would be nice to see the owners rip the old dining/bathroom/ bar area out and rebuild it from the studs. Nothing worse than a restaurant that doesn't put money back into the building! Catskill is booming, if you want modern, smell good dining, head to main street. Otherwise, be prepared to step back in time. Way back.
Overall the food was very fresh and tastes homemade, except the shrimp. Would definitely recommend though. Easy to get to and very clean with friendly staff.
The atmosphere and the food at Reds is always wonderful. I was there yesterday and had another great dinner. I also like the updates that had been made in the main dining room.
